back from the snow…
this week has been 3 good days of snowboarding. first a group of us went up to Mt Buller on Tuesday, since we are all tertiary students and there’s half-priced lift tickets for uni students. 47 AUD for a full-day ski lift, and we weren’t going to pass on this. yes yes, this meant we skipped a couple of tutorials at the hospital, but i suppose once or twice won’t matter in the big picture.
On Friday early morning, i joined the Singapore Association of Monash to head up to Falls Creek for a 2 day 2 night ski trip again. The blue slopes on Falls Creek were much easier than those on Mt Buller, but it could because there is more powder. It was a fantastic trip. Loved every minute of it.
I had a balaclava put on since the winds always brought snow pellets flying all over, making it a rather unpleasant experience if it hit your face.
Jeffrey, wish I had some of your snow. It’s suppose to be 105F here today.
gee thats 40 deg C! its almost Australia in Dec. oh well, every place has its ups and downs.
That looked awesome, I was up in buller recently, doing a photographic workshop, of which you can see images here (). Managed to get in a day of snowboarding at the end, and it is lots of fun
