SurgeXperiences and the lack of it.

Hi there. Here i am in Holiday Palace Hotel in Sihanokville, Cambodia. I have finished about 4 days of medical mission and am taking a break at night now. The internet here is uber slow so i have yet to update the links on SurgeXperiencs main site, other than the announcement that the 13th and latest edition is now up at Counting Sheep. the title suggests how i feel. I have lack of surgical exposure here! Its clerking and taking focused history and some light physical examinations here and there, but we really couldn’t do much for them. Cataracts, ptygerum, and fever, cough, cold, malnutrition. We have plenty of multi-vitamins but our medicine could not help much. However, we did much for the spiritual aspect and told each and every patient the Gospel story. Pray that God will convict their hearts to come believe in the Truth. Meanwhile, the rest of the trip will be mainly at Life University, where i will teach some school children English and Maths. I think it will be much more boring. Pictures will come when i get home on Thursday. God bless you all.
