How to host SurgeXperiences
26 11 2007Below i outline several key elements & elaborated comments as to hosting SurgeXperiences:
- Post a call for submissions on your blog. This could be combined with an announcement of the previous edition. Usually done after the previous edition is published.
- Wait for submissions to stream into your email. This is usually the mail you contact me by, or vice versa. It’ll not be seen by the public. Your email can be published in [1] at your own discretion.
- Choose a theme for the edition (optional).
- Work on the edition. Be creative, succinct, descriptive, etc. Whatever goes and suits you best. You are only limited by your imagination.
- Publish it on stipulated date. Don’t fret about the time zone differences.
- Sit back, relax and bask in glory
Your efforts will not go unnoticed. - Enjoy a few editions hosted by fellow bloggers.
- Consider hosting again and contact me!

Further generic tips about hosting can be found at “How to host a blog carnival“. (image credit)
Additional points to note:
- “Submission deadline” is set by default on the Friday just before the publish date on every other Sunday.
- The default categories for each edition (as of the SurgeXperiences submission form) can be altered upon request. Just let me know.
