Hello,

I am a 21 yr old female who has suffered from SEVERE NECKACHES/ FACEACHES/ ETC.. FOR YEARS!! I have has MRI'S, ETC.. YOU NAME IT.. THEY CAN NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH ME. Massages seem to help but DONT fix the problem. My whole left side of my neck and face feel paralized. Its like pinched nerves all in my neck and the corner of my bone on the top of my spine. A nerve or vein (one of the two) wraps around from my neck to my face and causes SEVERE PAIN. I almost feel like killing myself. This is horrible and I have no idea how to fix this or what it could be. Tylenol, advil, etc.. DOES NOT HELP WHAT SO EVER. This is causing me a GREAT DEAL OF PAIN. Please email me at Diana71888@hotmail.com if you can help!! Im at work and have to run now. Hope to hear responses!!

Why does the picture show the cutaneous nerve supply but you talk about the muscle supply? Hah, sorry I'm bored so I'm being annoying.

More interestingly, why the the muscles associated with the middle ear supplied by different nerves? Stapedius by VII and tensor tympani by V3. The function of V3 supplying tensor tympani is obvious, but why stapedius? hmmm.
