He hangs the earth upon nothing…
I was just discovering Leopard’s new screensaver “mosaic” function and was browsing the “Cosmos” category when i saw a beautiful picture of our planet Earth.
Now i am not going to go into global warming, politics, astrology, astronomy, etc. Perhaps because i know too little. And probably too lazy to find out. But hey, reliable resources to direct me will be welcome.
But the first thought that came to my mind was this verse from the first book in the bible to be written, Job.
“He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.”
- Job 26:7
“By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.”
- Psalm 33:6
