    lightning strikes leave a tell-tale fern-like cutaneous pattern usually tracking from superior to inferior. If you were to inspect this gentleman’s feet or coccyx you might find an exit point for the current.

    Lightning strike sounds interesting –

    Looks like it may be due to portal hypertension – kinda like spider angiomas except on the back and WAY worse…
