Warcraft 3, multi-tasking, and the cardiothoracic cavity
You might be thinking, what the bollocks is Jeffrey thinking!?
How can these 3 obscure things be ever linked together. Well, let me tell you, they could. These are the stuff occupying my mind now!

I just downloaded Warcraft 3 onto my mac and it rocks. Well, apparently to succeed you gotta remember the hot keys and build things fast, attack people fast, micromanage your units, (which i find totally distasteful), and multitask well basically.
I still don’t really like these games where they are all just monsterous creatures.. i prefer real war gaming stuff, like command and conquer where u get real humans and soldiers fighting in tanks, and what not – real time military stuff whcih i can relate to having spent 2 years in an established armed forces before. Nonetheless, it is just de-stress stuff i do in between my study of the anatomy of the thoracic cavity.
Update 12hrs later: i am getting bored of this game. probably going to stop, which is good cos i am not the kind who would get addicted to computer games…

But now, i wouldn’t want too much sedentary stuff get my arteries clogged up with cholesterol plaques like these below:

After all, i am a medical student and i should advocate healthy living with a balanced diet among regular moderate-level exercise.
Thus i am off for some running, keeping my two running heroes, Emil Zatopek and Steve Prefontaine, in mind.

and hey, that is an excellent quote:
To give anything lesss than your best is to sacrifice the gift.
and to me, that applies in ALL aspects of my current medical student life: academic, relational, spiritual, physical, and ?entertainment? … hmm….
