Grand Rounds 3.14
Grand Rounds 3.14, a collection of the best posts in medical blogging, is up!
Thanks to Nicholas Genes, MD, PhD, for hosting the final Grand Rounds of 2006, on his blog, interestingly named “blogborygmi“.
Thanks to him also for creating Grand Rounds. (Check the entire archive out here) It certainly has sparked the growth of the medical blogosphere in recent years. I remember that there was once when he was commenting on the lack of medical student blogs on the internet. That was back in 2004. When i read it in 2006, it was already a time when medical blogs were flourishing. Surely so many medical students, doctors, and other health professionals can’t be wrong! I have since realised the benefits of doing so myself and started slanting my personal blog to a medical blog. This was coupled with my personal growing interest in medicine as i have just begun my 5-yr MBBS course at Monash University, as you can read in “About me“.
Under the heading “Influences”, Dr Nicholas Genes included my article in this edition of Grand Rounds too!!
Medical Student Jeffrey Leow over in Melbourne writes about a role model that he hopes will influence his future practice of medicine.
If you are an avid blogger, or just someone who surfs the net for interesting reads, especially those with a medical or healthcare aspect to it, then look no further. Grand Rounds will be the one-stop article weekly to the best articles in the medical blogosphere. Enjoy!
