Youth Fellowship Camp, Thailand

2006 December 13
by Jeffrey

Went to Chiangrai last Thursday on the 7th of December 2006 for Calvary Pandan Bible-Presbyterian Church’s Youth Fellowship Camp. There were 5 of us who were on this budget flight to Chiangrai: Jon, Michelle, Joy, Van and i. The rest had left on the 5th.

I would say it was quite an eye opener, as i did not expect such run-down conditions. I thought at least we had a proper building with some beds or sth. Nonetheless, the activities organised were rather meaningful, like the object lesson, bible quiz, and the gospel rally held for the villagers at chiang rai on saturday night. i do pray God has touched a certain heart and cause him/her to truly accept our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ into his/her heart.

We went on other fun activities, like elephant and boat ride, and night bazaar visits, and Doi Tung, some flowery garden.

I got to know the rest of the YF-ers better and i must admit they are a good fun bunch of Christian brothers and sisters to know. God bless our fellowship in the years to come.
